The Chadar Trek is a winter trail in the Zanskar region of Ladakh, It derives its name from the fact that trekkers have to cross a frozen river, yes, you read it right! A frozen river! (Equating it to a blanket of ice)

With the snow-clad mountains all around you , the frozen river and the frozen waterfalls too, this place feels like paradise in its truest sense.

ITINERARY

Day 1

  • Arrive in Leh (11,400 ft, 0 km trek)
  • Freshen Up and Acclimatize

Day 2

  • Rest and acclimatization in Leh
  • Meet other travelers
  • Explore Leh

Day 3

  • Medical and Insurance day
  • Set your Gear

Day 4

  • Leh to Shingra Koma via Shingra (10,550 ft, 70 km drive to Shingra, 2-3 hr trek to Tso Mo)

Day 5

  • Tso Mo to Tibb (10,760 ft, 14 km)

Day 6

  • Tibb to Nerak (11,100 ft, 12 km trek)

Day 7

  • Nerak to Tibb (10,760 ft, 12 km trek)

Day 8

  • Tibb to Shingra Yokma (10,550 ft, 1.5 km / 30 mint. trek)

Day 9

  • Departure from Leh

INR 20,999/- per person

The Trip covers for accommodation in Leh and during the trek, partial meals, trekking equipment and other related gears as required.

  • INR. 20,999/- per person with Hotel Heating
  • INR 24,999/- per person with Cental Heating

  • Camping during the trek;
  • Hotel stay in Leh;
  • Meals on trek – Starting lunch on Day 3 till lunch on Day 8;
  • Trek equipment;
  • Experienced & mountaineering certified trek Leader;
  • Services of Guide, Cook and Support team;
  • Transport from leh to Road head and return.

EXLUDED

  • Meals in Leh;
  • Any expenses incurred on medical examination in Leh;
  • Any kind of personal expenses;
  • Any kind of Insurance;
  • Portage of personal luggage;
  • Anything not specifically mentioned under inclusions;
  • ALTO & Environmental Fee.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
  • The trip is hosted and marketed by Xplore The Earth for promotional purposes. The complete management of the trek along with stay, equipment, guides and trek leaders is managed by Fireballs Adventures.
  • The trip will take place only if the minimum batch size of 7 members excluding organizers is achieved.
  • We will announce the confirmation for the same on or before 5 days of the Trip.
  • The dates and schedule is subject to change as per our discretion.
  • There would be no refund for the cancellation before 7 days of the trip.
  • However, if the trip is cancelled by us, the money received will be refunded through our preferred channel.
  • This trip is organised by Xplore the Earth for providing recreational activities to the people. The organisers are in no way responsible for any unfortunate or unforeseen event happening on the trip whatsoever.
  • If traveling in a hired vehicle, we do not take any responsibility for malfunctioning, wrecking or any such unfortunate incident with respect to the transport vehicle.
  • The tent allocation would be decided by the organizers. Boys and Girls will be allotted different tents.
  • We do not take responsibility for damage, theft or any such incidents with participants and their belongings.
