Back in February 2020, before the Covid-19 Crisis, we had organised a unique and offbeat experience in the ancient ruins of Hampi Karnataka for a small group of like minded travellers looking for a bit of adventure and lots of experiences!
We spent 2 wonderful days in Hampi, exploring the ancient ruins, cycling through 600 year old remnants, cliff diving into waterfalls and watching beautiful sunsets from unique boulders of Hampi!

Hampi is a preserved architectural heritage site of the Vijayanagar Kingdom from the 15thCentury. The area has many of the temples, palaces and monuments well preserved from this era. It offers some wonderful experiences as the landscape of this area is quite unique with lots of boulders around and hills & river Tungabhadra passing by this ancient city. The other side of Hampi, popularly known as the“Hippie Island” is referred to the newly developed area on the other side of the river. There are no monuments here but a lot of Xperiences to savor!

ITINERARY
Day 1
Arrive at Hampi early morning by 8 AM & get directions to reach the campsite. You freshen up, have your breakfast (Which is on us!) Check into Tents and get ready to Xplore Monuments on a bicycle!
We weave through the ancient monuments, green fields and huge boulders on our two wheels!
Take a refreshing break on the way for lunch and enjoy the authentic South Indian Meal cooked fresh for us! (This one is on us too ;))
Head to the Vijay Vithala Temple to witness the stone chariot and the musical pillars famed of Hampi!
After a bit of off-roading on your cycles, we head for sunset at the spot on Hampi Island! We witness the magical show of nature and its vibrant display of colors in the sky!
Walk down back to enjoy a dinner with live music!
Retire to campsite for a campfire and an exciting game of Mafia!
DAY 2
Wake up relaxed and have a breakfast at the campsite (Again on us!)
We rent our scooters to head to Sanapar Lake in the morning! This artificial reservoir has a perfect spot for diving off the rock into the water! We enjoy time swimming at the shore amidst the huge boulders!
We head to do a coracle boat ride after the refreshing swim! We enjoy the beauty of the lake and the hills before returning back to the shore.
Take a long scooter ride to check out the Onake Cave Paintings if the time permits. Enjoy the secret spot and the location of these paintings for a while before heading back to campsite.
We pack up our bags, check out of the campsite and say bye bye to the hippie island.
Have your lunch, enjoy the market and shop souvenirs to commemorate this wonderful trip!
Depart and head for your transport options 6 PM onward.

COST Rs. 3500/ person Now Only Rs. 2499/- The Trip covers for accommodation,partial meals, scooter and bicycle guided tour, coracle boating & tickets.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
The trip will take place only if the minimum batch size of 12 members excluding organizers is achieved.
We will announce the confirmation for the same on or before 5 days of the Trip.
The dates and schedule is subject to change as per our discretion.
There would be no refund for the cancellation before 7 days of the trip.
However, if the trip is cancelled by us, the money received will be refunded through our preferred channel.
This trip is organised by Xplore the Earth for providing recreational activities to the people. The organisers are in no way responsible for any unfortunate or unforeseen event happening on the trip whatsoever.
If traveling in a hired vehicle, we do not take any responsibility for malfunctioning, wrecking or any such unfortunate incident with respect to the transport vehicle.
The tent allocation would be decided by the organizers. Boys and Girls will be allotted different tents.
We do not take responsibility for damage, theft or any such incidents with participants and their belongings.
