Here is a concise itinerary for your trip to the vibrant city of Mussoorie, Uttarakhand! In this article, I have listed 12 places to visit, few cafes to eat at and some great properties in 4 different budget ranges to help you choose from. I believe that 3 days are needed to enjoy and explore the history, culture, food and activities that are available in Mussoorie.

3-Day Mussoorie Itinerary & Places To Visit
Day 1
- LANDOUR BAKEHOUSE
Start your day with a good coffee or satisfy that sweet tooth.
Timings: 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM | Cost (approx.): INR 500 for 2 - LAL TIBBA SCENIC SPOT
Given that it is one of the highest points in Mussoorie, it does offer some really nice views.
Timings: 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM | Entry: INR 50 - KELLOGG MEMORIAL CHURCH
Kellogg Memorial Church has a nice architecture, but it is open only on Sundays. If you have time and do not mind going a bit far, then you can skip Lal Tibba and Kellogg Memorial Church. And instead, go to Surkanda Devi Temple in Dhanaulti. I definitely think it is worth it.
Timings: Sunday – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM | Entry: Free - CAFE DE TAVERN
And then you can have lunch at Cafe De Tavern. The pizza was actually and their desserts are another level. Must try.
Timings: 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM | Cost (approx.): INR 800 for 2 - GUN HILL
Gun Hill is Mussoorie’s second-highest peak, known for its panoramic views and fair-like activities at the top. You can either go by road or take a Ropeway from the Mall Road.
Timings: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM | Entry: Free | Ropeway Cost: ₹220 - MALL ROAD
Then you can spend the evening chilling and roaming around on the Mall Road.

And then for dinner, you can have local cuisine at Jeet Restaurant. They serve a really delicious Garhwali Thali!

Day 2
- KEMPTY FALLS
Set amidst greenery, the Kempty waterfall has a 40-foot drop and is without a doubt one of the most popular spots in Mussoorie. However, not many people know that is it is open 24 hours and if you go around 6am there is a good chance that you will have the entire waterfall to yourself.

Dalai Hill has a beautiful view point and is popular for the Tibetan Buddhist Temple.
Timings: 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM | Entry: Free - CAFE ANAHATA
Cafe Anahata is on the premises of the Tibetan Buddhist Temple itself and offers some really good vibe and food. Thier chilly garlic bread is amazing.
Timings: 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM | Cost (approx.): INR 800 for 2 - GEORGE EVEREST PEAK
Once the home of Sir George Everest, it is now a Cartography museum. And a 1 km hike to the peak offers panoramic views of the Doon Valley on one side and snow-capped Himalayas on the other.
Timings: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM | Entry: ₹200 | Cartography Museum: ₹100 - SEAGREEN CAFE
And you can end your day with a dinner at Seagreen Cafe. It is quite a peaceful place, the vibe is good and food too. I especially loved their chai pakoda.

Day 3
- NAG DEVTA TEMPLE
Nag Devta Temple is a lesser-known temple offering solitude and sweeping views of the Doon Valley.
Timings: 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM | Entry: Free - MUSSOORIE LAKE
It is a relatively small lake at the center with quick bites and small shops all around. Adjacent to the lake is an adventure park, Sky Wing offering rides like Zipline, Flying Fox and most notably Paragliding.
Timings: 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM | Entry: INR 30 | Boating: INR 50 | Paragliding: INR 1500 - IKYA ISLAND
IKYA Island is an adventure park where you can do activities like Zipline, Sky-Walk, Burma Bridge, Montain Climbing, Water Zorbing amongst multiple other activities. In terms of sheer number of activities IKYA might just have the most options.
Timings: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM | Entry: Free | Activity Cost: Ranges from INR 200-500 - TRAVELLERS CAFE
Then you can have a late lunch at Traveller’s cafe which is at the Bhatta Falls itself.
Timings: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM | Entry: Cost (approx.): INR 600 for 2 - BHATTA FALLS
And finally the last spot for the day, Bhatta Falls. There is also an adventure park where you can do Boating, Ziplining, Giant Swing and other activities. You can either take the ropeway down to the falls or reach the pin for Bhatta Falls and walk a little to reach the falls.
